We specialise in providing person-centred nursing and residential care, tailored to the specific and changing needs of each resident. Whether carrying out assessments, creating a tailored care plan, administering medication or diligently carrying out the day-to-day care and encouragement of each individual our attentive care team focuses on the individual needs of each resident. Their aim is to improve the quality of life for our residents in a home from home and by providing care, activities and other services devised in line with each resident’s needs and wishes.
We maintain our high standards by ensuring that all staff, and the care they deliver, is overseen by qualified nurses who stay up to date with the most current training. RESIDENTIAL CARE
Goatacre Manor is a residential and nursing home that is here to help you to continue to live your best life. We provide personal care for people who are finding it harder to manage at home safely. We can give you support with everyday living activities, like washing and dressing, so you can focus on the important things.
From coffee mornings in Margaret’s café on site, to trips out to local sights. From crafting or visiting singers to singing along with the bands and the pre-schoolers who visit us. If pampering is more your cup of tea, perhaps you’d enjoy a nice massage, facial or some reflexology? With our dedicated well-being team in charge, there is always something to do and someone to talk to. We even welcome a menagerie of farm and pet animals into the care center on a regular basis. Wilbur the pony and the miniature goat and his accompanying nappy are always are a big hit!
Should you wish to take a trip with your family the all-access van we have available at our care center for you and your family to take a trip to visit some of the local sights, out for dinner or afternoon tea. If you’re a cricket fan then you’re in for a treat! Goatacre Manor care centre looks straight onto the Goatacre cricket pitch and our new balcony facility means you can even have a bird’s eye view!

RESPITE CARE
Everybody needs some time for themselves, but this can be essential to those wishing to stay in their own homes for as long as possible. Regular rest and recuperation can be vital for both you and your carer’s long-term well-being and relationship.
Whether it’s covering a short break, a longer holiday, or needed urgently because of illness or a family emergency, we can provide the home from home you need during this time.
We also provide short term care for individuals who are recovering from an operation or illness and need assistance with nursing care or personal care during their recovery.
NURSING CARE
We provide high quality 24 hour, personalised, compassionate, nursing care for people with significant health care needs. Our care is delivered by qualified and committed nurses, who receive regular training.
END OF LIFE CARE
Goatacre Manor nursing home provides specialised end of life support. Our highly qualified and compassionate team help people to live as well as possible and provide an environment where they can die with dignity, surrounded by family and friends if they so wish. This support extends to family and carers both emotionally and logistically as we try and facilitate accommodation for any family faced with the challenge of saying goodbye to their loved one. End of life care includes palliative care. Palliative care means helping to make your loved one as comfortable as possible focusing on relieving pain and any other distressing symptoms while providing emotional and spiritual support for family members, carers or friends during this challenging time.
